Excursion Schedule

7:30 AM to 9:45 AM Pick up in your hotel (depending on the hotel).
When you reserve we will send the exact time of the pickup.  

10:30 AM Arrival at Bike Station. From here we enjoy a leisurely
1.5km/1mile bike tour through the jungle and the
farmland, learning about local subsistence
farming and surrounding sub-tropical vegetation.
 

11:25 AM Arrival at Rest Area. Information briefing regarding the
zip-lines and cenote visits. Refreshments.
 

11:40 AM Cenote Xtabay: Swim and learn about the fauna and
flora particular to cenotes, how their ecosystems functions,
and the value of cenotes to the locals and local ecotourism.
Zip-line across from one cenote to the next cenote harnessed
By two cables that allow for 2 incredibly exhilarating flights
of more than 180 ft/60 mts each while surrounded by
pristine jungle vegetation.
 

12:10 AM Cenote Chikin-Ha: Snorkel, swim and learn about the
geological formation of cenotes, the scientific study of
cenotes and "speleo-diving."
 

12:40 AM Cenote Aluxes: witness a Mayan purification ritual
and learn about the religious significance of cenotes
in ancient and current Mayan culture.
Return to Rest
Area, above the jungle canopy, on the HIGHEST and
LONGEST zip-line (150 mts) in southern Mexico.
 

01:10 PM Snacks and drinks. Afterwards return to Bike Station.  

01:45 PM End of the Expedition. Transport back to your hotel.  

This expedition includes: Transportation in air-conditioned vans; Multilingual specialized adventure guide; Entrance fees; Bicycles and snorkel equipment; Snacks and drinks.
Recommendations: Bring comfortable footwear, swimming gear (on if possible), towel, backpack or daypack, and extra cash.

QUESTIONS ABOUT THE HOTEL PICKUP

Is this tour available from Cancun hotels?
Yes there is pickup at all Cancun hotels. We will send you the exact time of the pickup at your hotel when you reserve.

Is this tour available from the Riviera Maya and do you have hotel pickup?
Yes, please indicate this on your reservation form and we will take care of all the details.

What time do we get back to our hotel?
You will be returned to your hotel between 4 and 5 PM.

Do you have group pick up?
Yes, you tell us the size of your group and we will arrange transportation for your group from any location in Cancun and the Riviera Maya.

 

QUESTIONS ABOUT THE TOUR

What should I bring on the tour?
Light clothing is recommended. Also bring sunglasses and your bathing suit for your swim in the cenote and a towel if you want too.

What is the maximum weight limit for the Zip lines on this tour?
The weight limit for the zip lines is 220 lbs. or 100 kilos.

Do I need extra cash?
You only need extra cash for extra refreshments and souvenirs.

How many guides are there?
Every tour departs with two guides. One in front of the group and one at the tail end of the group. On groups of 14 or more there are 3 guides for the security and comfort of the clients.

Is there food?
Yes, a snack is served and of course there is plenty of water available.

Will we see wild animals?
Yes with luck you will see jungle birds including parrots, spider monkeys, white tailed deer and other local jungle animals.

Must I do all activities?
If you have no interest in any of the activities, then that activity may be skipped.

 

QUESTIONS ABOUT RESERVATIONS AND CANCELLATIONS   

What happens once I reserve?
Once you send in a reservation with your credit card we will charge your card the amount of the tour. Then we will send you a coupon which you will print and bring with you to be given to the driver at the time of pickup. The coupon is your proof of purchase and will have a unique confirmation number and coupon number on it and an emergency phone number to call if something goes wrong.

What is your cancellation policy?
You can cancel any tour up to 24 hours before departure and only pay a 5% administrative processing fee. If the trip is cancelled because the port is closed or due to bad weather then you will receive a 100% refund. What if I want to change the date of the trip?
No problem, we will gladly move any trip for you to a different day, space permitting, as long as you give us a minimum of 24 hours notice. There is no fee for changes.

Is it possible to make my reservation when I get to Cancun?
Yes. We do recommend you make all your tour your reservations as far in advance as possible so that you are sure to what you want, when you want it. During the high season from January to August there are many times we have no availability 2-3 days in advance.

We are arriving by cruise ship, can we take this tour?
As a rule this tour will not fit you schedule.

Important Note:
This expedition is not recommended for persons with severe back problems, any severe physical or motor handicaps, or serious heart problems, nor for persons who are obese, who suffer from claustrophobia or who don't know how to swim. Children under 6 years, pregnant women, and persons under the effects of alcohol or drugs will not be permitted to participate in this expedition.
