Just off Avenida Yaxchilan and Sunyaxchen one block away from the post office, This popular market is filled with shops selling many of the same souvenir items found in the Hotel Zone, but at half prices. It is like a huge flea market where you can deal the price with the vendors. After you visit this market don't forget to go to Plaza Bonita located just a few meters away the market.

This is the first stop on Tulum Ave. If your on and R1 bus. From here you can walk just about anywhere in Cancun or get a taxi easy.

The following super markets are located in downtown. If you wish to buy at very reasonable prices groceries, bakery, casual clothing, shoes, beach towels, sun blockers, souvenirs or just to watch around, the Cancun's super stores are the right place. All of them open at 7:00 AM and close at midnight although the Walmart and Mega Comercial Mexicana are open 24 hours a day.

Address: 3 Stores, Kabah Avenue near Costco, Downtown on Uxmal Avenue and Lopez Portillo and Libramiento Kabah.
How to get there? If you come from the hotel zone take the bus "Ruta 15" and ask the driver to drop you off at the Walmart bus stop, from there we recommend you to take a cab. It is located five blocks west from Walmart.
Chedraui. Groceries, meat, poultry, dairy products, bakery, pharmacy, clothing, electronics, 1 ATM, This is one of the less expensive super markets in town. Local people buy their groceries here at very reasonable prices.
Address: 4 Stores, Plaza Las Americas, Tulum Avenue, Kabah Avenue, Lopez Portillo Avenue.
How to get there? If you come from the hotel zone take the bus R1 or R2 .Get off at the first bus stop in town then walk south around five blocks, ask for Plaza las Americas Mall, there is another store just in front of the Social security hospital across the shell fountain in Tulum Avenue.
Bodega Gigante. Super Market, Groceries, clothing electronics, pharmacy, tools, hardware, toys, housing appliances, departmental stores where you can find clothing, gift stores, hair shop, shoe store, block buster video, 2 restaurants, 1 bank, 2 ATM.

How to get there? If you come from the hotel zone take the bus "Ruta 15" and ask the driver to drop you off at the corner of Multi plaza Gigante. Services nearby: Bancomer (bank), Scotia Bank, Banorte (bank), travel agency, Mexicana de Aviacion office, Restaurant Tok's, Restaurant La Parrilla, Gas Station.
The Home Depot Cancun. Hardware, tools, garden appliances, plants, paint, house appliances, electronics, 1 ATM.
Address: Blvd. Luis D. Colosio 1 block south of Plaza Las Americas.
How to get there? If you come from the hotel zone take the bus R1 "Ruta 1" Get off at the first bus stop in town then walk south around five blocks, ask for Plaza las Americas Mall, once you get there just walk one block to the south.
Sam's Club Cancun. If you are member of this club you know what you can find at those kind of stores at excellent prices. Electronics, ATM, pizza, pharmacy, groceries, computers, clothing, liquors, tools, etc.

CITY CLUB HOME & BUSINESS CANCUN (Price Club). This store has a similar system than Sam's Club, it belongs to the Mexican Chain of supermarkets named Soriana. Membership is required.
